During treatment

Laser Hair Removal
For long lasting, and effective hair reduction lasers are the best option, unlike traditional methods, such as waxing and plucking, medical grade laser hair removal destroys the hair follicle unit and preventing future growth. Our laser hair removal method provides quick, safe permanent hair reduction solution with minimal pain.
The selective laser wavelength is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles and the blood supply of the hair. This light will heat up the follicle to a particular temperature, causing damage to the hair follicle and preventing future hair growth.
The optimal Laser Hair Removal treatment occurs when the hair follicles is in their active gio vistage (anagen).
Not all hair is in the active stage for that reason multiple treatments maybe required.
Treatment course
We recommend 6 - 10 sessions, however this can vary between each individual. Treatments are performed every 4 - 6 weeks, and additional maintenance treatments are required.
Preparation
For optimal results it is important that the treatment area is shaved approximately 24hrs prior to the session and avoid waxing/depilatory cream, fake tan, and suntan up to two weeks prior to the session. It is important to inform the therapist of any changes including spray tan, as laser light is absorbed by the colour of the hair follicle and can also be absorbed by the pigment on the skin.
Downtime
Post laser treatment the facial hair may take 7 - 10 days to fall out while the body hair may take 2 - 3 weeks. Individual results will vary and are based on thickness of hair, colour of the hair and skin. During the consultation your therapist will be able to provide you with more information based on your individual assessment.
