After Volume Enhancing
​AFTERCARE

You may initially be swollen, red and bruised which will subside within the next 1 – 10 days

Your full result will be seen at about 4 weeks after treatment

Do not apply make up for approximately 6 hours

Avoid exposure to UV, extreme heat i.e. sauna, steam rooms, sun beds etc. as this may increase discomfort and swelling.

If necessary, you can apply a cool compress to the area to reduce any discomfort or swelling.

If you have had any numbing cream applied please do not consume any hot or cold drinks until your sensation has returned to normal.

Avoid pressure on the treated areas for the first few nights (i.e. sleep on back of possible)

Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

Laser (IPL)
​AFTERCARE

Use only gentle cleansers, hyaluronic acid/hydrating or healing serums, gentle moisturisers and SPF 30+ daily for 3 days.

​Avoid any heat or sweat inducing activities, including vigorous exercise for 24 hours.

Do not use any active skincare (i.e. vitamin A, vitamin C), AHA or BHA, exfoliants or acidic based products for 4 days (e.g. Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic etc) - gentle exfoliation may be used after this time.

Do not use vitamin A/Retinol products for 3 days (e.g. Retin A, Stieva A, Zorac etc).
-
Strictly avoid sun exposure for 14 days.
-
Do not shave the area until sensitivity has subsided.
-
Do not pick, pull or scratch the treated skin. This can lead to scarring, infection and pigment changes.

Avoid smoking/vaping

Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.

If you must be outdoors, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF to protect the treated area from sun exposure.

Always inform your clinician about medications you are taking, especially those that can make your skin more sensitive to light, such as certain antibiotics, acne treatments, and herbal supplements.

Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or other resurfacing procedures for at least 2 weeks prior to your IPL treatment.
-
Discontinue the use of retinoids, glycolic acids, and other exfoliating products on the area to be treated for at least one week before your appointment.
-
Avoid waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams on the area to be treated for at least 4 weeks prior.
-
Shave the treatment area 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. This helps the laser focus on the hair follicles without burning the hair above the skin’s surface.

On the day of your treatment, ensure the area is clean and free of makeup, lotions, deodorants, or any other skincare products.
Laser Hair Removal
​AFTERCARE

Apply a cool compress or an ice pack wrapped in a cloth to the treated area to soothe any redness, swelling, or discomfort. Do this for 10-15 minutes as needed.

Refrain from taking hot showers, baths, saunas, or using hot tubs for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment. Use lukewarm water when showering or bathing.
-
Keep the treated area out of direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks after each session. Sun exposure can lead to hyperpigmentation and other complications.
-
Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF on the treated area daily, even on cloudy days. Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to wash the treated area. Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating for at least a week post-treatment.

Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to the treated area to keep the skin soft and hydrated. Avoid products with fragrances, alcohol, or active ingredients like retinoids or acids for a few days.

Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams on the treated area between laser sessions.
You can shave the treated area if necessary. Shaving does not affect the hair follicle and is safe between sessions. -

After treatment, you may experience some temporary side effects as part of the natural healing process. These are completely normal and should subside within a few days. You may experience:

Taking an antihistamine as needed can help soothe any itching or redness.
Teeth Whitening

Foods: Chicken, turkey, white fish, white rice, white pasta, white sauce, potatoes (no skin), cauliflower, bananas, peeled apples, cottage cheese -
Wait 2-3 hours before eating after your treatment.

Use a straw when drinking anything that could stain your teeth (even coffee or tea in the future).

Hot or Cold Liquids: Avoid extreme temperatures to prevent expansion/contraction of enamel, which lets stains in Acidic Items: These open enamel pores and allow staining -
Avoid smoking and frequent alcohol to prolong your results

A follow-up treatment can be done in 4-6 weeks for enhanced results. The more consistently you whiten, the
